Not yet. Tollgate is single player, built for your own phone, your own topics, and your own decision to answer or walk away.
Apple’s Screen Time system has two modes: an individual mode, where an app helps you manage your own usage, and a guardian mode for managing a child’s device. Tollgate uses the individual mode only. Installing it on a kid’s phone today would leave the kid holding all the controls: they could pause the guard, change the allowance to 30 minutes, or turn off Screen Time access entirely, and nothing would stop them. A family mode done right needs the guardian plumbing, parent side controls, and probably parent visible stats, none of which we will half build.
There is also a values question we would rather answer carefully than quickly. Tollgate works because the person at the gate chose the gate. A version imposed by a parent changes that psychology completely, and the design has to respect it or it will just teach kids to hate quizzes.
It is on the roadmap, and the waitlist inside the app hears about it first. Email hello@thetollgate.app with “family mode” and what you would need from it. Real demand, described concretely, is what moves roadmap items up. Our no promised dates policy applies here too.
