Switching topics

Settings → Topic. Tap the one you want. Done.

The sheet says it right at the top: “Switches at the next toll. Your streak carries over.” Both halves are literal:

• At the next toll means the change never interrupts a block you are currently in. The next time the gate comes down, the question is from the new topic. Tollgate caches questions for the new topic the moment you pick it, so the switch works even if you are offline by the time the gate fires.
• Your streak carries over means exactly that. The streak counts days with a correct answer on any topic. Switching from Math to History costs you nothing.

Which topics are there?

Six today, roughly 160 questions each:

• Free: General knowledge 🌍 · Math 🧮
• Pro: Biology 🧬 · History 🏛️ · Geography 🗺️ · Tech & CS 💻

Tapping a locked topic shows the Pro upgrade. Pro also includes every topic we add in the future.

The “Any topic · SOON” tile

You may spot a dashed tile promising custom topics in your own words. That is real, it is being built, and it has no promised date. Tollgate does not sell futures: Pro’s price covers what is in the app today, and here is the honest roadmap. The “Which subject would you want first?” box on that screen genuinely steers what gets built, so use it.
