Deleting your Tollgate data is refreshingly boring, because there is so little of it and none of it is held hostage.
Everything meaningful lives on your phone, so deleting Tollgate deletes it: stats, streaks, history, cached questions, settings, your guarded app selection, all gone with the app, unrecoverable by anyone, including us. There is no cloud copy. (Also the reason to think twice if you only meant to take a break, and to know that reinstalling starts stats from zero.)
The only Tollgate data that ever reached us is the short outbound list: a few aggregate numbers keyed to a random ID, plus any topic requests or question flags you sent. If you want those wiped too, email hello@thetollgate.app and we will remove them. Because the data is anonymous, mention roughly when you used the app so we can find the right records to purge.
That is the entire process. No account deletion flow (no account), no 30 day retention windows, no “download your archive” ceremony over data that would fit in a text message.
One more note for parents: Tollgate is not directed at children under 13 and is not currently built for kids’ phones at all.
